We walk the house, look at what the old siding is hiding where we can, and give you a written price with the material named on it. Free, and no one will push you to sign on the day.
With over 24 years in business, 2FL Windows & Siding has been a trusted exterior home improvement contractor since 2002.
I had this company come out to replace my windows and I couldn't be any happier with the service that was provided. I have 3 young kids running around and the team that did my windows were very patient, friendly, polite and they even cleaned…
We had a great experience with 2FL on a small re-siding project. They accommodated some requests we had which was appreciated. They were also much more responsive than other siding companies we talked to, which was ultimately why we decided to go with 2FL. For…
I had a roof replaced and 2FL did an excellent job. It took them 2 days to complete and the roof looks great. Many neighbors have commented on how nice it is. I highly recommend them.

By Appointment OnlyWe stop, show you, and price the repair before we carry on. Nobody can see through a wall, so any honest siding quote assumes the sheathing is sound and says so in writing. What separates contractors is what happens when it is not. Ask every company you get a quote from how they handle it, whether you get told before the work happens or after, and what the hourly or square-foot rate for repair is. If that is not in the quote, it is not a quote.
Where we can get at it, yes. A gable end, a spot behind a downpipe, somewhere a board has already come loose. It will not tell us everything, but it tells us more than measuring the outside of the house does, and it is the difference between a price that holds and a price that moves once the work starts.
This is the part of a siding job you never see and the part that decides whether the wall stays dry. New siding over old, failed wrap is lipstick. We replace the weather barrier and detail the flashing at windows, doors and penetrations as part of the job. If a quote is noticeably cheaper than the others, this is usually where the difference went, so ask each contractor to put in writing what happens to the wrap.
We work one elevation at a time and dry it in the same day rather than stripping the whole house and hoping. That matters more here than in most markets. If somebody proposes taking all four sides off at once in October, ask what the plan is when it rains for a week.
Our own crews, employed by us, and the same people from the first board to the last. Siding is not a one-day job, and a crew that changes halfway through is how you end up with two different standards of work on the same house. Ask any contractor whether the people quoting are the people installing.
It leaves with us, and the disposal is inside the quoted price rather than added at the end. Worth checking on every quote you collect: haul-away on a full re-side is a real cost, and leaving it out is an easy way to make a number look lower than the one next to it.
Yes, and you should ask this of everyone. Our finished work is on the siding projects page and there is more on our work. A contractor who cannot show you a completed job in your area, or who only has photographs of the good elevation, is telling you something.

The Washington number is public: look it up on the Department of Labor and Industries site and it shows the bond, the insurance and any claims against it. Run that check on every quote you collect.
