With over 24 years in business, 2FL Windows & Siding has been a trusted exterior home improvement contractor since 2002.
I had this company come out to replace my windows and I couldn't be any happier with the service that was provided. I have 3 young kids running around and the team that did my windows were very patient, friendly, polite and they even cleaned…
We had a great experience with 2FL on a small re-siding project. They accommodated some requests we had which was appreciated. They were also much more responsive than other siding companies we talked to, which was ultimately why we decided to go with 2FL. For…
I had a roof replaced and 2FL did an excellent job. It took them 2 days to complete and the roof looks great. Many neighbors have commented on how nice it is. I highly recommend them.

By Appointment OnlyEvery opening, in person, before you get a number. Replacement windows are made to the hole they go in, and no two openings in an older house are the same size, so a price given over the phone is a guess that gets revised once somebody turns up with a tape. If a company quotes your whole house without measuring it, ask what happens to that price when the windows are ordered.
Your windows are built to your measurements, so there is a manufacturing wait between the order and the install day. We give you the date at the estimate, in writing, once we know the product and the sizes. Be wary of anyone promising a date before they know either.
It depends on what we find, and you should be told which one you are being quoted. An insert fits a new window inside the existing frame and is quicker and cheaper, but it only works where the old frame and the sill are sound and it loses a little glass area. A full frame replacement takes the whole thing back to the opening, which is what you need where there is rot or where the original install was poor. A quote that does not say which method it assumes is not a quote you can compare.
No. Plenty of people do the worst elevation first, usually whichever side takes the weather, and come back for the rest. It costs a little more per window to split the work across visits, and we will tell you what that difference is so the choice is yours rather than ours.
One opening at a time. A window comes out and the new one goes in before the crew moves to the next, so the house is never standing open. Most people stay home throughout. We sheet the floor and the furniture around each opening and clean up at the end of each day rather than at the end of the job.
Two different warranties, and it is worth knowing which is which before you compare quotes. A failed seal in the glass unit is the manufacturer, and every window we fit carries the maker warranty: Milgard, Marvin, Cascade, Ply Gem, Lindsay and VPI all have their own terms. Anything to do with how the window was fitted, flashed or sealed to the house is ours. Ask any installer to tell you where the line falls, because a cheap install with a good window still leaks.
Washington contractor registration 2FLENFE906BG and Idaho registration RCE-61509, both current, with general liability and workers compensation. Look the Washington number up on the Department of Labor and Industries site: it shows the bond, the insurance and any claims, and it takes about a minute. Do it for every quote you collect, not just ours.
Often, yes, and they change by utility and by year rather than being a fixed national scheme. We keep what currently applies on our utility rebates page, and we will tell you at the estimate which ones your address and your chosen product qualify for. Financing is separate and is set out on our financing page.
