We measure the walls, look at what is under the old siding where we can, and give you a written price that names the material and everything that goes behind it.
With over 24 years in business, 2FL Windows & Siding has been a trusted exterior home improvement contractor since 2002.
I had this company come out to replace my windows and I couldn't be any happier with the service that was provided. I have 3 young kids running around and the team that did my windows were very patient, friendly, polite and they even cleaned…
We had a great experience with 2FL on a small re-siding project. They accommodated some requests we had which was appreciated. They were also much more responsive than other siding companies we talked to, which was ultimately why we decided to go with 2FL. For…
I had a roof replaced and 2FL did an excellent job. It took them 2 days to complete and the roof looks great. Many neighbors have commented on how nice it is. I highly recommend them.

By Appointment OnlyNew siding from 2FL runs from about $8 to $20 per square foot of wall, depending mostly on the material. A firm price needs someone to measure the house and look at what is under the old siding, because that is where the surprises are.
Because the materials differ both in what they cost to buy and in how much work they take to put up. Vinyl is light and quick to hang, which is why it sits at the lower end. Fiber cement is heavier and is cut and fastened differently, so it costs more to buy and to install. Wood and metal are specialty choices, priced on the product and the design.
It depends on how long you plan to stay and what the house needs. Fiber cement resists rot, moisture and pests far better than wood, holds its factory finish, and James Hardie makes a formulation for the Pacific Northwest’s wet winters. Vinyl costs less and never needs painting. The vinyl siding and James Hardie siding pages go into the detail.
Yes, because it has to come off, be hauled away and be disposed of before anything new goes up. What we find behind it can add more: soft sheathing, missing house wrap or failed flashing all have to be put right first. Our siding contractors page explains how we handle what turns up.
Usually because they are not quoting the same job. Check that each one covers the removal and disposal of the old siding, the house wrap, the flashing at every window and door, the trim, and what happens if rot is found. If a quote is silent on any of those, ask, because that is where two numbers that look alike stop being alike.
If both are due, doing them together means the trim and the flashing around each window are done once, as one job. If only the windows are due, our Rain Jacket Flashing System lets us replace them without touching the siding, so you are not pushed into both.
Yes. The offer is 25% off siding, with installation included. Ask about it at the estimate.
